Job Description: Experience teaching upper Primary- and lower Secondary-age students.

Reporting To: EAL Team Leader

Core Purpose: Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with curriculum standards, fostering student progress through professional practice and inclusive strategies.
Teaching & Learning:
• Master relevant curricula (National/Chinese) and assessment frameworks
• Design lessons with clear objectives, differentiation, and progression
• Maintain high expectations for behavior and academic achievement

• Implement effective bilingual instruction (Chinese L1 teachers)

Assessment:
• Use formative/summative assessments to adapt teaching
• Track student progress and moderate grading consistency
• Identify SEN/gifted learners and implement IEPs as needed

Collaboration:
• Build partnerships with parents through reporting and conferences
• Work with external agencies to enrich learning

Professional Development:
• Engage in continuous pedagogy and subject knowledge growth
• Adhere to school policies while modeling professional conduct

Resource Management:
• Effectively utilize teaching materials and ICT resources

Maintains Learning Community principles through engaging, inquiry-based lessons that develop critical thinking.
